Yes. If you registered your domain through Quantumcloud, then please fill out the appropriate form to have the contact information for your domain modified in the registry record. If you registered your domain through another provider, then please contact your registrar to modify the contact information for your domain.

Yes. You can move your domain to any ISP or web host. This move is officially known as domain modification, and it involves a change in the nameservers for your domain with nameservers from the ISP or web host you are moving your domain to.

If your domain was registered through us, then we will notify you by email for renewal before the domain expires. We recommend that you always keep a valid email address in our file so we can notify you before the renewal date. Also, you would also need to make sure that your email filter does not block or delete emails from admin@mateors.com. Please consult with your ISP or email provider to check if they use any email filter. We won't be responsible for expiration of your domain due to non-renewal on time by you.

Note domain names MUST be registered for a minimum of 1 year. Registration fee includes the use of the domain exclusively for the period you register for, web and e-mail forwarding, DNS and name server management and a holding page option. Prices do not include Web Hosting or POP3 mail boxes although these can be purchased at an extra cost.

Simply go to the Manage DNS page and add a new A entry.
Example: I want to create a subdomain called 'secure' and redirect it to a secure server. Therefore I need to add: secure A XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (secure server IP). This way, secure.domainname.com will go to the secure server.

Our DNS updates twice a day. The DNS refresh times do change but the spacing between refreshes will stay the same.

Yes you can have an MX record that is an IP address as long as you enter a full stop at the end of the IP address.
e.g. MX entry: 81.140.129.225. (with the "dot" at the end). Priority: 10.

It usually takes 24 hours for a DNS change to take effect but please be aware that in some cases it will take up to 48 hours.

Although a domain name may have expired, it is not immediately available for registration by someone else. Depending on the registrar, they may keep hold of the domain name for several months. We recommend you use our "domain watcher" to watch most domains so they are automatically registered when the domain is released for resale.
